Conference Production
At mrl productions provide complete technical production for conferences, corporate events and live presentations across the UK and Europe. Working with our partners we deliver all everything you need for the event, from staging, audio and lighting through to LED screens, video, networking and technical crew.

From smaller meetings to large conferences, our experienced team manages the full technical production from planning and setup through to rehearsals, live operation and de-rig. We'll also work alongside your existing event team and suppliers to make sure everything runs smoothly.

CBRE

For CBRE's annual Quiz and Games Night in London, we built the whole tech backbone of the evening. Quiz questions appeared across two large LED walls and six screens dotted around the venue, with guests answering live from iPads on their tables plus a competitive car racing game running on the same screens later in the night.
Behind the scenes, we supplied secure, fast WiFi and networking for the whole room (with our own network engineer on hand throughout), so every table's iPad worked without a hitch.
Sound and lighting were built around the room's shape, giving even coverage for the presenters, hosts and the quiz itself, with a warm stage wash to keep the atmosphere up between rounds.

Technical spec: Two 3m-wide DigiLED LED walls and six remote 65" screens, driven via networked iPads at each table. KV2 Audio EX10, EX2.2 and EX26 speakers for room coverage, Sennheiser wireless microphones for presenters, 6 x Martin ELP Profiles for stage wash, and a stage floor package of Clay Paky Axcor 300, Vintage Blaze and Infinity Wash fixtures.
STATOM CHARITY BALL

We worked alongside the Statom Charity Ball, in partnership with the Rio Ferdinand Foundation, at Grosvenor House Hotel — transforming the space and handling every technical element of the night, from staging to sound to lighting, with our technicians on hand throughout.

Large LED walls and a striking lighting rig gave the stage a clean, eye-catching look, while a dedicated lighting console kept every cue running smoothly across the evening. Entertainment included Kenny Thomas, Ray Lewis and DJ Tony R, alongside Rio Ferdinand — and the night raised over £300,000 for charity. We were proud to be part of it, and we're looking forward to working with more charity events in future.

Technical spec: Three flown DigiLED LED walls, 24 boxes of Electro-Voice line array with KV2 Audio monitors and VHD4.21 subs. Martin Atomic VDO Dots on 4m truss totems alongside 320mm Sceptron 10s for the stage, plus Clay Paky Mythos 2 and Scenius Spot fixtures, Martin Aura XB and Martin ELP CL LED Profiles flown in the ceiling. All lighting controlled via a single Avolites D9 console.

ESSEX POLICE

The Essex Police Bravery Awards at Boreham House called for a smaller, more focused setup of a proper stage for the evening's presentations, with clear screens throughout the room so every guest could follow along, and sound built to carry speeches, video and music cleanly.

We've worked in partnership with Essex Police for a number of years and look forward to supporting the Bravery Awards going forward.

Technical spec: 5m x 3m carpeted stage with lectern and comfort monitor, lit with Martin ELP Profiles and Clay Paky Axcor 300 fixtures on an Avolites Titan Mobile console. An 85" central LED screen plus two 65" screens, run via a Blackmagic ATEM switcher. Audio via Allen & Heath SQ5 control desk with a KV2 Audio EX system — 6 x EX26 and two EX2.2 subs.
