Event project management

There are usually a lot of people involved in an event. Venues, organisers, agencies, suppliers, speakers, performers and production teams all have their own jobs to do.

Our project management keeps the technical side joined up, so everyone knows what is happening, when it is happening and what needs to be ready.

We can manage the technical production from the initial brief through to the event itself and the final de-rig.

Keeping the technical side on track

Good project management starts well before the equipment arrives on site.

We'll work through the technical requirements, venue information, timings and logistics to build a clear plan for the production.

Depending on the event, this can include:

  • Initial technical brief

  • Site visits and venue liaison

  • Technical specifications

  • Equipment planning

  • Supplier and contractor coordination

  • Production schedules

  • Crew planning

  • Build and de-rig schedules

  • Rehearsal planning

  • On-site technical management

  • Live event support

One person keeping an eye on the detail

Technical production can involve a lot of moving parts.

The stage needs to be ready before the lighting goes in. The screens need to be in position before they're tested.

Presentations and videos need to be checked. The crew need to know where they're meant to be and when.

We'll keep track of those details and make sure the different parts of the production fit together just as we did for the Statom Charity Ball.

That means you have someone you can speak to who understands the technical side of the event, rather than having to coordinate several different suppliers yourself.

From planning to show day

As the event gets closer, we'll turn the plan into a practical schedule for the build.

On site, our project management team can coordinate the technical crew and suppliers, keep an eye on timings, deal with changes and make sure the production is ready for rehearsals and the live event.

Once the event is finished, we'll also coordinate the de-rig and get everything cleared safely and efficiently.
